Hanoi,
Vietnam- Jimex Corporation, manufacturer of ColdTech refrigeration
equipment and the highly anticipated ASCEND refrigeration equipment,
opened its new 150,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Hanoi, Vietnam.
“ This
is very exciting for us. This allows us much better control over
the design of our products and the rate of implementing new design
changes,” states Julius Choi, VP of Sales and Marketing at
Jimex Corp.” The opening of this overseas factory opens so
many doors for us, including our future goals of expanding to international
markets”.
At its Vietnam
plant, Jimex is now manufacturing all of its refrigeration boxes
and stainless steel products such as its sinks, worktables, equipment
stands, and shelves. And, as before, the refrigeration equipment
are shipped to Jimex’s California headquarter facility for
final assembly and quality control.
This new Vietnam
plant offers Jimex full processing capabilities to punch, laser
cut, and bend stainless steel and other material, thereby allowing
Jimex to manufacture the exterior and interior body of the refrigerators
as well as manufacture its stainless steel equipment.
“ The
acquisition of this factory begins a new phase for Jimex Corporation
within the foodservice industry, which is why we decided to introduce
our new ASCEND line of refrigeration products at this time,”
explains Yvonne Choi, Marketing Manager of Jimex Corp. “The
ASCEND products will be similar to the ColdTech products but with
added features and benefits for more efficiency, functionality,
and durability”. |
